AP .061 venturi-equipped
For Ken Cook...lookie what came attached to a sniped eBay sale. The purchase was attempted in the last few seconds hoping what was on the engine...was really what the poor picture showed.
If nothing else, the venturi was the selling point. I consider the engine spare parts. I think I'll be busy building this winter!
The perfect AP venturi (Jan Holuzko):

Re: AP .061 venturi-equipped
A part that many would love to have. I found my adapter for the AP. I will have ot get a pic of it. Prior to Jan making his version which was inspired by Larry Renger, Larry was friends with a fellow I believe his name was Graham Collins. Graham made a adapter for the Cox TD assembly and sent it to Larry. I essentially took my design from there and made my own. Graham was using JB weld for something and I wanted to improve on that. Nice job and good luck with it. Ken

Other than cost, none that I know of. I've managed to get the APs for an off-the-cuff average of $37.50 (avg shipped).
The same size Norvel I got cost me closer to $55. I love my .074 Big Migs. I'd love to have two more .061 Big Migs...but I'm done buying engines until the APs fail.
