Hello friends i am tring to get this going for the contest intre , and i am having issues with the electrics as in Not working , i can get the servos to jump sometimes and the power seems to be there according to my meter around 6 V to the receiver  . The pistol type trans. is not the same crystal as the receiver , so i switched it out with one from a airplane (futaba ) and still not getting to work . Any help would bee thankful here is some pics of the stuff i am working with .. Help with Nissan GTP electrics  Ptdc0067
Help with Nissan GTP electrics  Ptdc0068 The transmitter i was tring to get work is a Conquest FM Huh... ? well that might bee the problem AM rec. FM trans. ??? i don't know. But it has the FM crystal in it now . Rolling Eyes

FM transmitter or receiver don't work with AM transmitter or receiver. FM and AM circuits are different.

Need to use AM crystals and within the frequency range of the radio. I might have the Sanwa instructions. I’ll have to check.

Also the little switch can go bad to the RX. It gets plugged with castor. I’ve had to replace them multiple times.

Probably best to buy a matched set. Better reliability that way.

Got the crystals , put them in and she works like a charm !!! Thanks Jason !! Now to clean the fuel cell and get ready to fire this baby off !! bounce I hope i don't have to pull the engine but if so let it bee . What are good rechargeable AA batteries that you guys use knowing some are much better than others in use and holding a charge i am going to need some for the Spektrum radio i have also .
