You can spend hours on u tube watching all manner of cool miniature engines....v type, in line, radial, you name it some crafty guy or team made a running 1/8th 1/4 scale version

I attend a show in the winter called Cabin Fever. A bunch of our club members all pile into a van to get there. The fairgrounds we go to is just huge. There is thousands of these type of projects from the basic machinist to museum quality pieces. We have even brought parts and pieces of small engines to allow these guys to work on them. They sell machinery at this event as well and we have even tried some of it out.
