Re: One of my best friends......
Just to display my anal retentive side I still have the instruction manual that came with my first B&S push mower, the mower is long gone but for some reason I kept the manual. Bought about 62 years ago in Jacksonville Florida when Eric was first seeing the light of day.
And, speaking of wheelies...
I had never used a zero turn mower until I bought this property, it came with the house. All the weight is in the rear, directly opposite from a standard mower. Got up a good head of steam going up this banking when the front came up with me looking at the sky. I got off the gas and leaned forward as far as I could with the mower teetering ready to fall back over me taking me and it back down the banking when it finally settled forward. Anymore I mow going backwards up the banking but that day I came close to going back to nature.
I put the retaining wall in later, it was more of an angle than than it is now.

Yeah, not sure how we did it Bob, but we're here. But heck, your still a kid yet. I remember when I was 67, many years ago.
Is that you on the JD? I have no sense of balance, I would have gone over for sure.

a mower in years. I said bye-bye to balance, after
radical back surgery a few years ago.

That's really tough Bob, but now that you mention it I remember you saying something about it once before. I hope that it gets better or at least no worse.
I'm no stranger to back misery having lifted to many engine blocks and transmissions over the years. But usually time flat on my back overnight cured it or lessened it's effects. Just muscular I would think rather than vertebrae or a disc. Surprised that it hasn't come back as I have been tossing around 60/80 lb logs for the past few months.
Lucky stars...

Having worked at https://www.cshl.edu/ for 22 years,
they told me I could say that. I'm only a mechanic, but
I know where the 3 eyed fish are burried.
