lonely Tuesday..
I logged-in at 8:09 pm (USA E.S.T.) and no other registered users were on.
OMG... someone's gonna sneak-up behind me! Then Bob (dkrsn) logged-on.. then Ron (cribbs77).. I'm glad that you two showed-up!

Re: lonely Tuesday..
Lynne's cooking pasta and tomato sauce. It'll be ready soon.. so I may be detained whilst we eat dinner. She's in rare-form as well. I just felt like writing about it.
Re: lonely Tuesday..
"You may have a comment"...... (A local Northern Rhode Island AM radio show-host says that frequently.. and I like the thought-provoking that it generates)
Re: lonely Tuesday..
I could have been sneaking up behind and you wouldn’t know it. My login is hidden although mods can probably see it. Down below it says 1 hidden also. How was the pasta?

Hey Roddie, I'm always lurking.
I'm having stuffed pasta shells and fresh Italian bread tonight. Mmmm.
Kiss on Lynne's cheek for taking care of our forum brother.

I'm been pushing a cantankerous lawn mower around the yard while threatening to make it Guest of Honor at our next Gun Day...but sending Good Vibes to you!

Mowing has always been somewhat of a Zen thing for me. Lots of space for free thinking. It's bliss until the mower takes a s**t, then all bets are off.Kim wrote:I'm been pushing a cantankerous lawn mower around the yard while threatening to make it Guest of Honor at our next Gun Day...but sending Good Vibes to you!

Re: lonely Tuesday..
Lynne's sauce; a combination of Jimmy Dean ground-sausage (X1 package.. regular.. not hot or Sage); scrambled in a saucepan with a little Goya olive-oil for texture and seasoned with onion and garlic power, one bottle of Ragu Marinara pasta sauce, one can of petite-diced tomatoes.. some red cooking-wine and usually (when making a big sauce..) X1 lg. can of Hunt's pasta-sauce.
Tonight the pasta was my choice; cheese-filled ravioli (large size-Walmart/GV brand frozen 3lb. bag) 1# was cooked tonight.. and I ate what Lynne couldn't finish. It was delicious.. like everything that Lynne cooks!

Re: lonely Tuesday..
Got to admit my posterior has been glued to the JD lately moving dirt and mowing grass, but I still take time to post my mostly off-topic stuff.
Time to break out the Rare Bear roddie and do a retrospective.
BTW where is Freddie anyway. He logged on yesterday, but like so many others has little to say. Summer doldrums maybe.

Hi Roddie!!! Logging on to say hi!
I wanted to reply to some of the threads the last couple of weeks but contracted Covid and thought they might sound kind of crazy
…… I’m usually lurking in the background and reading the forum kept me halfway sane while stuck inside…. Always something interesting to read…

Photos of me flying my Ace Littlest Stick right before I got sick….Was powered by a PeeWee .020 early in its life but now by electrickery….. I joined a local club and renewed my AMA to be able to fly gas again…,Cheers

Re: lonely Tuesday..
Wow roddie, the pasta sounded very good. I am going to show your 'recipe' to Cherish and see if we can get the Jimmy Dean ingredients here as I woudl love to try it out, and even to see if WM has the same pasta. Would be a nice meal while on holidays the following week, and can make a big batch once and have it for a couple of days.
