Nice score man, esp. on the the .15 special which is fairly rare! got yourself a definite collector there.

Is the .05 have the same displacement as the .049?

Re: New engines just arrived
The 05 has the same displacement and piston with the groove on the bottom skirt, as the 051...COX differentiated it with the 05 number just to mark that the 05 RC engine came without the Sub-Piston Induction (SPI), to enable the use of RC muffler on it without deteriorating the performance, that a 051 (=SPI) engine would have with the muffler.

Great scores!
The Mk 2 has unique porting and a wrist pin for the con rod.
When I worked in Cox Customer service, I built several R/C TD .051 engines using the Medallion crankshafts. This was done to get lower idle speeds and more usable mid range power as the TD crankshaft port timing is not well suited for lower RPMs. We also used regular glow heads in place of the high compression head to make the engines run better at lower RPM and not overheat. The newer Texaco head works well on R/C throttled Cox engines The reason for us using the TD throttle body was it allowed the use of a carburetor instead of an exhaust throttle sleeve.

Your new engines
Hello Vincent. Now that you have them, what are your plans for them? They are really nice but a shame if you don't put them in a plane and enjoy flying with them.
