Christmas Eve, all decorated. Family and friends riding shotgun through the neighborhood distributing gifts..........Christmas carols playing.

Used to happen in my old home town back in the nineteen fifties. Mark does it in his Mustang each year top down.

For sale not to far from me - $5000 with an automatic transmission.

WHEE!! Ho-Ho-Ho, thru the streets we go, flashing lights away. Throwing presents to the peasants along the merry way....HEY!
Firetruck Bells a-ringing, Dingle, lingle, linging! Red Lights a flashin' the siren a Blastin' as we speed away. Dingling Bells, Dingling Bells Dingling All the way..the REd Truck is flashing, the neighbors are a dashin' ...trying to get out of the way...Hey!!

that is SOO COOL

long time back, at a parade, pal of my dad's saw fire engines going by, told me

"Charles, when you are old, if you have enough money to waste restoring fire engiines to drive around once a year? you will know you are living life right"

I kinda still want one. a fire engine implies:
I have enough money to buy one
I have mechanical knowledge to keep it going
I have a place big enough to store it
I enjoy life enough that I drive around in parades.

$5k huh... Smile
