Re: **VOTE-ON-THE-NEXT-COX-ENGINE-OF-THE-MONTH** (February 2022)
thanks gents. I appreciate the compliments.
I keep lying to myself, saying I will sell the polished ones, to 'make-up" for the $$$ I am spending on eBay
my thought was? buy "lots" of multiple motors, to get the ones I wanted as a kid. Golden Bee, Black Widow, etc....
then take the Baby Bees out, polish and clean em up, and sell em for more on eBay.
with a $65 reserve and Buy-It-Now at $75? the bidding didn't go as high as used bees.
I can't keep paying the $5 reserve fee every re-list, or I eat up all the money....
So? I have 6 of these left, one on ETSY.
I'm currently polishing a Fox 15
and I'd probably be open to trading these desk ornaments for .010 or .020...
PM if any of ya want drunkenly-carved wooden-base mounted polished-up Bees.
when spring comes? no more polishing and lolly-gagging around the shop - will be time to work on motorcycles.
thanks again for the win. the Lynx will go in a place of honor for sure
thanks
Charles
