Me too, done my bit. Hard choice but in the end I went with the home made tie pin.
I have one of those engines and might just steal that idea
but don't tell anyone

Another nice set of entries.
I use those helping hands for holding wires and components to be soldered. They don't last me long though because I also use them for silver soldering and they don't like the heat!
Never thought of using them to pose an engine for a picture though!

Re: **VOTE-ON-THE-NEXT-COX-ENGINE-OF-THE-MONTH** (February 2015)
Thanks guys!!
I was surprised myself how well the photo turned out. The photo is exactly how it came out from the iPhone, no modifications at all, although I did snap about maybe a dozen photos and selected the best one. As they say "digital film is cheap"
The "helping hand" is a great help when you need it, especially for soldering connectors and such. I bought this one back when I thought I wouldn't need the magnifying glass so it's been a while. Well worth the few Euros spent. If you have one, or are looking to get one, be sure to store it away from the sunlight, as the glass may cause a fire when it catches the sun. A bag over the glass helps too.
Thanks again everyone, I don't win competitions often so this means a lot

Congrats Kari well done!!
The helping hand work station works well I have a couple of them since I do a lot of soldering on circuit boards as well as connectors and soldering wiring on speed controls and brushless motors for my RC cars. (Bandit)
