Another Item from the "Odd Stuff Pile"

Another Item from the "Odd Stuff Pile"
I've been sorting through the many partially full boxes of stuff that seem to migrate in my direction these days, and found this mixed in with assorted debris that my big brother had purchased from a friend's father's estate.
Made of soft rubber, and about an inch and a half wide, it was nearly chucked, 'till I noticed "Thimble Drome" molded into its top side.
At this point, I don't have a clue as to its purpose...maybe a rubber tie clasp?
Anyway, just another micro-mystery out in the shop.

Yup, fingerguard, got one just like it. Like yours, came in a bunch of Cox stuff.
Went up to the loft and found it. Was going to leave it there but decided to clean it up a bit and put it in my display case (in front of the little pink and blue guy) along with something that you might recognize and Jim's Dubro Klip and quite a few other things that members here have sent me over time. Thanks guys!
