I’m going to keep it on display. I think the car has seen some well use, with how used and locked up the engine is.

As you did, one can still find a nice condition Prop Rod for a reasonable price. They haven't yet suffered the huge price rises that their for-runners have.
I have two of them, the latest one I got last year. The owner wanted a dozen beer for it. I was happy to give him two dozen for it.
If you require a canopy for it you can get a replacement from Chris Vaughn at.

I have one just like yours that I restored about six years ago. I'm still searching for the segmented chrome strip that runs along the top of the hood scoop. Don't know if there are repros for that or not. Like what has been mentioned in the past, going into this hobby we knew well that it would be tough to get those "unobtainium" parts sometimes.
