Cox Engine of The Month
My first Cox .049 engine.
My first Cox .049 engine.
Dear friends, I want to share with you my visit to a very special place.
The city of Rosario is about 180 km from my city. In that city (Rosario), when I was a child, I discovered the Cox .049 engine for the first time in a hobby shop called Leys Aeromodelismo….today its former owners are gone, the place changed its name and is dedicated to more models. all types.
I bought a rubber engine model to remember a beautiful moment in my life.
So in that place that I show in the photo was my first purchase of a Cox .049 engine.
Also visit our monument to the national flag, here you can also see some photos of that place.
It has the hall of flags and I really liked taking a picture with the Argentine flag and with the flag of my dear friends from the United States.
I hope this short story can convey to you my journey through time and how magical it was for me to visit that hobby shop (Model Aircraft Laws) where my first Cox engine and first wooden planks began to shape into something akin to a scale aircraft.

Mauricio, that is an amazing childhood story of a model aircraft shop that continues even today under different management. And, they look very nicely and fully stocked with items. La ciudad de Rosario parece tambíen to be a very clean, modern city. I have enjoyed watching your past videos. Thank you for sharing.

model aircraft has saved my life, more than once, that's why I'm here...
You are all a part of me...geographically I'm in a different spot, but I feel like an infinite part of the United States...that's all I can say...

Re: My first Cox .049 engine.
the phrase: you can do it too
I apply that phrase to every person who, in truth, due to some circumstance in life, can feel overwhelmed, tired and without horizon, "you can too", I learned it from myself... it is enough to have the heart and the feelings united, with the clear conviction of what you want, because I have achieved it:
Since I was little I wanted a model airplane made with my hands to fly... I had no resources, but...
Wow, I've done it!... that's why:
You can do it too!...!
