baby bird robin

This little baby bird was in the street I would have hit him if I didn't stop The mother was there but nothing to do, the nest was impossible to find I think I'm his best chance for survival I manage to feed him and he is quite docile He's yelling at me for bread I hope to succeed in bringing back to being independent

Good for you David.
Get a pair of tweezers and squish a fly or a worm (protein) and feed him with that. Chances are that you will imprint it and have a friend for life.

When I was 11 years old, we raised a baby mocking bird that fell from the nest, eyes closed and without feathers, fed it smashed dry cereal mixed with milk from a spoon. Amazingly it lived and grew up with feathers. Then my brother stepped on it, which ended that. But while it was alive, really enjoyed it.

Good on you David for saving the bird… As Bob mentioned worms are best…At the school I worked at Robins would go to heavily irrigated areas because it would drive the earthworms to the surface…. Around here we can by earthworms for fishing bait, Don’t know if you may have them where you live…. Another option may be a pet store for meal worms
