unknown part where where these prop drivers used on?

Got 3 of these black anodized hex prop drivers.
Don't know of any engine type they where used on.
Any suggestions?

I believe the previous owner may have anodized these common hex head prop drive plates black?
These were used on later production reedies like Surestart with the self engaging spring starters.

I think Cox International was selling them for a while. I had one kicking around so I used it to make an all black engine.

Since there are more of these "out there" that would imply these where made by cox.
As far as i can recall these parts where part of a batch of parts i bought over 15 years ago.
That would imply there might have been a engine design that never came to be before cox quit making engines.
