COX PT-19 - Super Stunters WHEELS dia???
Hi,
Need info about COX PT-19 vs Super Stunters plastic WHEELS diameter, are they same type and dia ???
Intend to draw exact size/shape/profile wheel and print it on 3d printer in black plastic .
Have no any on hand and measuring from the photos, looks 25-32mm dia , but exact , measure size (dia/width) will be of great help.
Thanx

I rebuilt the gear on my PT-19... using a pair of "Sig Manufacturing" wheels which are slightly larger @ 1.375" X .375" or 35mm X 9.5mm. The Cox OEM wheels "might be" 1.25" (dia.) or 31.75mm. which .125" (3.18mm) smaller diameter than the Sig wheels. My OEM gear is buried in a box somewhere.. or else I would measure the wheel diameter for you. You're "in the ballpark".. but I'd lean toward the 32mm.
My Cox PT-19 OEM wheels have an open face on the back-side.. with an integral "hub" for the axle, molded into the front-side/face of the wheel.
The photo below shows the PT-19 OEM gear/wheels with the larger diameter "Sig" wheels for comparison.

Thanx Roddie,
Its open back side wheel i wish to re-create, so, arround 32mm dia is OK.
Will post pics once i complete 3d drawings and print forst wheel-

Re: COX PT-19 - Super Stunters WHEELS dia???
Having exact dimension given by Roddie (THX), this morning i create 32mm dia COX style plastic wheel used on PT-19, Super Stunter, Chipmunk, Skyraider, and probably some other COX models.

And after few try and fail prints, (three , top left on photo) i leave idea of open face wheel and simply print half of the wheels, and later superglue both halves together.

Strong , light , 6 grams each and looks like COX plastic wheel.

Now I just need to build a model for them.
