Throttle sleeve and fuel tank
Hello guys new member here
I’ve. Just bought a little. Cox 020 pee wee fantastic little engine not started it yet thou will put it in a guillows Cessna 150 I’m building
I’ve seen a lot of you guys making a throttle sleeve as they don’t seem to for sale anywhere
I don’t have a lathe unfortunately how successful is.the beer can idea ?
Also has anyone fabricated a small fuel tank rather than the tiny one built on to the engine is like it to run for longer than 2mins if possible

Re: Throttle sleeve and fuel tank
Welcome.
There is a thread about making a tin can fuel tank making step by step, however I couldn't find it.
Beer can idea is very appreciated for making a simple throttle. You can try it. Andras made a successful one.

Welcome CP!!
I have made and used the balloon fuel tank designed by Andras with excellent results…. I know he has also designed a very nice throttle for Cox engines…. I’m sure he will be glad to share those … Good luck with your project!!!…. Post some photos when you are able
