Wow, wow wow. Did you make these by chance? I really like the design!!!! I just got a mini ugly stick kit that I was thinking of going 0.020 or 0.010 never even considered throttle control.

Yes, I did make these throttle controls and mufflers.
I have a small MicroLux lathe and milling machine.
Wish I had the room for the full-size lathe and milling machine though?
The machines got even better when MicorLux sold digital readouts that you could adapt onto their machines for better accuracy and that way you knew you were moving the carriage 1/16 of an inch and not guessing by just bumping the carriage wheel?
Though, working at Caterpillar for over 35 years I got use to metric and wish I could get the digital readouts now in metric.
So, I just have to remember 25.4 to one inch.
The "original" design style of the carburetor is somewhat of a copy of the simple PAW carburetor with a few changes to make it simple.
The tubing next to the throttle arm is cut then sanded down to give the right amount of play for the throttle barrel to turn.
Each tubing is never exactly the same length -- that is the only "custom" fit part on the entire carburetor.
The material and tooling (the aluminum, drill bits, taps, dies, and screws, I purchased from McMaster-Carr.
The throttle arm is actually for a kid's toy and it come from China --- Found it on Banggood's website.
(100 pcs for $20.00 + shipping)
I originally use those arms to pop up my glider's spoilers on the wing as it worked out well.
The only tough part was to figure out and drill the size and placement of the holes on the threaded area on the carburetor like Cox did on the standard venturi.
On the hole size, I took what the original size was on the std. venturi and drilled the same size.
But only drilling two holes instead of four, I went up just slightly bigger to get the same fuel volume?

I do have a few of the .020 and .010 carburetors for sale as well if you want throttle control on those engines?
Three CEF members are happy with the .010 carburetor that they received.
One even posted a short video of the Cox .010 where the engine at full throttle running at 27,000 and idled down to about 12,000.
