GO GATORS!
The Florida Gators just advanced to their third consecutive College World Series! I am exceptionally happy to say that my cousin's son Greg Larson was one of the UF pitchers contributing to their win! This is the year of the Gator!
You guys know I am fishing for a response, a speific response from South Carolina.
Gator fan,
Bob

Re: GO GATORS!
Rain delay right now in Columbia. Gamecocks 0, Oklahoma 0. 1-0 Carolina in series game 2. I was really hoping to meet NC State in Omaha, but if we have to whup the Gators again, I guess that'll be okay. Game 1 in the 2011 CWS was the damndest game I ever witnessed, especially the last 2 innings.fit90 wrote:The Florida Gators just advanced to their third consecutive College World Series! Ah, they just restarted. OK's starter is still pitching. And heavy rain is coming again.

Re: GO GATORS!
The Fla game had a 2 1/2 hour rain delay. Bad weather through out the South East. The rain is welcome down here. Greg was UF's last pitcher in the last game of last year's World Series. He is easy to spot. He is 6' 8", the tallest athlete other than basket ball players, at UF. He was just drafted by the Red Sox. He has to wait until after the World Series to talk to the team.
Earlier in the season when you were talking about the USC Clemson game I forgot to tell you that my dad lives near Clemson in Seneca. He has become a Clemson fan since he moved there.
This should be a great College World Series.

Re: GO GATORS!
They burned a half inning and out came the tarp. I see no way to finish tonight. The Gulf of Mexico is belching on us again. I actually went to Clemson the first 2 semesters after high school. Signed up for EE and never studied. I transferred to DeVry in Atlanta. That was a much better fit. They set me up for a good career with an AS degree. I grew up as, and live in the heart of Gamecock Nation. Everybody in my family went to Carolina, so I am an all-weather Gamecock fan. Especially when they play the Gayters.
Here's to any Clemson fans that might be watching in awe form the shadows.
EDIT: Sorry about your Dad.
