I've started digging through my boxes of stuff, and figured these guys MIGHT help someone finish a restoration with their parts.
NO ENGINES or ENGINE MOUNTS included ! There IS one extra lower blade mount (no clue as to how I ended up with three!) Also, I wasn't able to find the bubbles, and one tail rotor is missing. What you see in the photo is exactly what's laying in the box right now.
The $15.00 includes shipping, and I intend to just turn it around and shoot it to the Admin. to dump in his account for whatever he needs to help keep our forum going.
Paypal, USA only.
Shoot me a note here.

I have a .020 engine just waiting to be placed in a helicopter... Can't you really ship it to Belgium?

I have another one with a .049... Got the same problem 5 months later, after the winter, I found it back... I just replaced one blade, and the engine fired right up

I could look into it...but think the shipping would make their price ridiculous! Sorry, would love to get them a good home.

Well, if it's not too much, I'm ready to pay the difference

That's how I ended up with TWO of them! I'd bought one new in the box from a guy I worked with. He brought it to work for me, but I was on my bike and didn't want to chance trying to strap it on, so let a friend take it home for me in his car.
When I went by his house to pick it up, he said he couldn't stand not trying it out...set the mixture rich and let it hover in his yard. Well, the engine went lean, the 'copter climbed above the treeline, and left !
He bought another one for me, and week later someone found the first one, and he just gave it to me. Said he didn't even like LOOKING at it!
We flew them quite a bit over the years, but the blades eventually got where one or more would fly off in flight...NOT a good thing !

Well, I'll check to see what it would cost. To make them fly, though, you'd still need the engine mounts, which I don't have...just so you know what's included.
I'm about to punch out and take 5 day trip, but will get back to you this coming week with the shipping cost.

I think I have everything I need... As long as you have the lower blade support, it will be fine I'll just have to find a fuel tank

you can very easily make a tank with some sheeting i like tin and some solder.

Hey Ideeman,
Just a note to let you know I haven't forgotten you. I've been running around the country on vacation, and spent the last two days getting my gear sorted and back in it's place. As soon as possible, I'm gonna go by the Post Office and find out what the billing rates are for a package to Belgium. Can I get your town's name in case the P.O. needs it to narrow down the charges? You can post it here or P.M. me on the forum.
Since the frames are not particularly fragile, I may be able to ship them in a smaller box to save you some money...kinda making this up as I go.
Also, after considerable digging, I was able to find both fuel tanks. They have tiny age cracks, but might be fixable with an alcohol bath followed by some thin CA. I'm still searching for the canopy bubbles.
As far as the price for the things, I've decided to give them to you for the shipping charges, since it'd be better than having them end up in the trash. When possible for you, please just send the forum a few bucks to help keep this ball rolling.
Later! Kim

Thanks a lot Kim, no problem, take your time
I didn't know how I was going to make new fuel tanks (I'm not expert at soldering ), so it helps me a lot...
I live in Rixensart, 1330 (Region: Brabant Wallon), but I think it'll be the same shipping charge for the all country, Belgium is kinda small
I'll send some bucks as soon as possible, to support this great forum

I don't know, nitro...the stock tanks on these helicopters are tiny...probably intentionally so...and STILL allow these things to go nearly OOS on a good engine run.

Hey ideeman,
Stopped by the Post office today, and the postage will be between $12 & $15. I thought it'd be a lot more...so this IS a learning experience!
Was that your entire address on your previous post. If you'd want to PM complete address to me, that'd work too.
Let me know, and I'll get these old choppers on the way!

That is one problem I find when ordering from the US many sellers won't post internationally because they believe it will be very expensive and a lot of hassle when infact it's simple and rather inexpensive.
Re: [SOLD] (For Sale): Two Badly Abused Cox "Skycopter" Carcasses (.020 Size) $15.00
Yeah, guess I've still got some left-over concerns from from my previous job where we often shipped materials to England, Germany, and other countries. It was a BIG deal, involving currency/value exchange rates, Customs, and container requirements. It seemed that no matter how I applied myself to getting the stuff shipped, there was ALWAYS a snag that stopped the whole deal and made me start over!
This appears to be a straight-across deal...but still...I ain't bragging 'till it's over and done and ideeman has his machines!

Thanks a lot Kim, everything worked great, I just received the package with the two copters inside
Here's one of them after a small cleanup, happy with his new engine
I'll keep the other one for parts, or if I find a second engine, It'll fly too...
You made a big kid happy

Sure! It just needs the canopy, and it'll be nearly as new!
