I like that Tee Dee. Pretty clever starter spring mount.

Which one? The .049 is the one you gave me. A real screamer.

Yeah but they eat'em now and then. Especially if your prop isn't perfectly balanced. It's a horrible sight. My Streak ate one on the first lap of its maiden voyage. I had to cut it to get it off of the prop, which was a mess too. Look how close the loop is to the plane of the drive plate.fit90 wrote:I like that Tee Dee. Pretty clever starter spring mount.

Yeah, Bob gave me my first Tee Dee, it's a screamer too. It's taken a pretty good pounding on the Stuntman23 and still going. Every time I finish flying I take the fuel system off and back flush it with alcohol. The little baby never fail to crank, I don't even bother to test run Tee Dees before I go out to fly. They always crank and go. I haven't tried it since I put an aluminum carb on it though.microflitedude wrote:fit90 wrote:I like that Tee Dee. Pretty clever starter spring mount.

Doesn't have to be pretty! I like the used ones they have more character. I have one really nice .020 and I always figure out a way not to use it.

Okay I count 12 entries, if we count the two collections of multiple engines. ADMIN??? What about that? Depending on Jacob's ruling on the multiple engine pictures, the first 10 get in the mix.

LOL, crap..... Well, just let the 12 do. I have been very busy in the past few days so I wasn't able to keep close watch on it.

I'm pretty sure the poll only allows a maximum of 10.Admin wrote:LOL, crap..... Well, just let the 12 do. I have been very busy in the past few days so I wasn't able to keep close watch on it.

That's right it does, its been awhile since I set one up with more than a few options. Well, I guess we have to pick the first 10, first come first serve.
I'll get it set up for you.

That’s a real beauty, but, hold your horses! This thread is from 2012. The August submission thread will be coming this August.
