A Question?.
Hi, now being the proud owner of a TeeDee 010, I'm thinking freeflight semi-scale solid balsa Buggatti R100 (Ebeneezer) Anybody have any thoughts on span and weight?
Cheers![A Question?. 4201307885](https://2img.net/u/3015/29/34/60/smiles/4201307885.gif)

OK, thanks. That widens the door for 1/2A electric to gas conversions.

With all the dwindling 1/2A gas stuff I was wondering what the next step would be. Taking over the electrics!!!!
I can dream can't I?

Re: A Question?.
I've just dug out my old 1978 unopened House of Balsa 1/2A P51. I've just looked on the box at the spec it reads, Span 36inchs, weight, 22-28ozs, Wing Loading 14.6-18.6ozs/sqr.ft. Power TD 0.49. I've never built it because I want to convert to a F81 twin engined Mustang for controline.
By the way I have that Bugatti R100 plan see my avatar.

Killer bee, venom, clone of either, the Christmas bee, and several others can be done. Teedee`s don`t count, they aren`t reed valve induction therefore the RR-1 for instance doesn`t quite qualify as with other newer custom type cox clones if I may call them that for instanct Ronald Valentines speed bee 049, not a reedie and since I never had mine out of the box I can`t attest to its "hot or not" status
BUT, I have been wondering what a venom clone would run like if ir was RR induction instead of reedie

Re: A Question?.
Thankyou Jasper I thought thats what it was. I just didn't realise that only ruled out Medallions and TeeDees. I'd never thought about all the others being reedies

Re: A Question?.
Conversions in the right direction is always a possibility, and when done well they end up lighter on glow power too.
Here is a Super Chipmunk (by Carl Goldberg) with a fully cowled Norvel .074, it flies great;

Hot means higher performance and reedy refers to a reed valve engine.

Re: A Question?.
ill be doing a e to glow conversion soon as my order arrives. as for a .01, try one of the Guillows smaller kits. i think their p-51 D (make sure its the D) or similar sized aircraft would work well.
