Any CL'rs in Kansas?

Going to be spending 25 days in Wichita Kansas for work starting next week. I was thinking of bringing along some planes to fiddle with. Would love to hang out with some local fliers if their are any.

I wonder what the Wichihawks are all about. The rest say RC, but hey, I guess I can hang out with those guys.

I figure they might have a CL circle at some of those places. You might have to mow it first. lol!

I'll take what I can get! Apparently my hunch was correct! The Wichihawks are a CL club, I shot an email off to the club prez letting him know I will be in town.

I don't have an AMA license hopefully I can still fly. Thanks for doing the legwork Rusty.

Well I'm set! The Wichihawks have invited me to fly next Tuesday. I will finally get a chance to maiden the Ringmaster.

They'll probably let you fly once. If you want to spend $15 you can get a 3 month membership. If you upgrade before it expires you can finish the year for around $38.00. They e-mail you a temporary card with your number and a receipt you carry until your regular card comes.

I need to go ahead and do it. I have shyed away as I don't need it in my backyard. I could also find 100 things I would rather spend $50 on. lol!

Anyway, the more I fly the more sense it makes. My contact said no AMA is required for my visit.
