OK Cub .19

OK Cub .19
I have 2 identical OK Cub .19's except one is stamped .19 the other one reads as exactly as shown. There's a little .1 a 4 and a little 0. They are exactly the same size wise. Does this seem odd?

Are you sure one of them is not a Cub .14?
Left engine is a .19, right is a .14

They do look the same, but now I see the silver top is smaller on one. Does your have the markings like the one I pictured?

Re: OK Cub .19
The .19 and .149 (not .140) used the same case, to make the .19 they milled off the '.149' off the case and stamped it with '.19', the cylinder and head on the .19 are noticeably larger.

Re: OK Cub .19
I own the .149. I was actually quite shocked at the engine. I received the engine amongst several others which were obviously a small collection. It was quite gummed up. Instead of taking it all part, I just heated it and used fuel to loosen it up. I screwed on a prop and put it on the stand. Wow, it's a loud one. That took me by surprise. The engine really sounded quite good . I came across a class B racer in a old American Modeler that uses the Ok Cub .149. I put that mag aside because it really is a neat looking model. Ken
