Well, I got a NIB Cox E-Z Bee II and am assembling it. Unfortunately, over the past 20 years sitting in the box, the left inner wing panel has warped a bit. I tried gently heating it with the wife's hair dryer, but it didn't have any affect. I'm afraid to try anything more drastic, as a replacement would be impossible to find. Any suggestions?

I can't comment on your particular wing. The majority of my combat wings are all foam and they respond well to a Monokote iron. Getting the correct heat is essential and working the temp up all around the area is equally as important. You just can't hit it with the heat in one spot and hope for the best. Ironing in circles to get the surrounding area hot without melting the foam is essential. What may be equally important is ironing both sides and not just doing one. Hold the wing in position until it's cooled. Some of my wings have clear covering on them and this assists equally as well. I would think that you could place a narrow strip of fiberglass reinforced packing tape at a angle across the wing from trailing edge to leading edge to also help hold. This obviously would be needed on both wings to assist in balance. Ken
