109 years old!!
Congratulations Ian. I didn't know you were that old. Modelling must be good for your health.
Instead of you posting pictures of engines, I suggest that today, engine pictures are posted here for you to enjoy.
I'll open the dance. I hope others will follow.

Happy Birthday Ian. By the look and green color of your skin I would have thought you were over 800 years old.
Let's call that avatar my gift to you, your getting a lot of mileage out of it.

Re: 109 years old!!
Well that explains it. 109 years is about right to collect all those engines you have.
Happy Birthday!

Re: 109 years old!!
I think you miskeyed the year. You put 1904 and meant either 1934 or 1964. The 0,3 and 6 are in the same column. I bet you are 49!
Then again, you have just given quite an impression of senility setting in!

Re: 109 years old!!
We've been teasing Ian about his advanced age forever. He just keeps getting older and older.
Happy Birthday ol' man! Keep on having fun and getting older.

Yes, Happy Birthday...now take it easy on all that "double-posting", I may have to take some numbers off your post count! You'll earn those wings someday
Re: 109 years old!!
You are close - my fat finger issues are more astray than you quote - I am *9 years old but still behave like I did in my teens (but worse!)JanPar wrote:I think you miskeyed the year. You put 1904 and meant either 1934 or 1964. The 0,3 and 6 are in the same column. I bet you are 49!

The only thing that I can relate to this site that I got for my birthday was a book - "Radio Control Aerobatics for Everyone" by Dave Patrick.
I thought that quite a treat from my better half (she has quite a lot to put up with, I have engines, planes, machinery ........ all over the house. She is very tolerant!
I saved it to read on the aeroplane - the day after my birthday I find myself in Africa (Kenya) again!
Tis a rivetting read but whoa! We are talking about guys entering the Tournament of Champions with 40lb, 9 foot biplanes, 140cc engines and 32 inch propellors in one section.
Back to my mid life crisis! I am going to dream again about BECs, UBECs, SBECs, inrunners, outrunners and the virtues of LIPOs!!!
Thank you for the birthday wishes.
............. and the slap for over posting!
