Here is my BHM Mongoose. Pulled around by an OS Max baffle top 25 fitted with a homemade venturi and Super Tigre NVA. Pulls the Goose along pretty well. Easy to keep up with. The kit was excellent. The craft flies terrifically. I would highly recommend it to anyone. It can fly slow or fast. All depends on power with this beastie. It is my new daily flier. Goes through each maneuver I ask of it with the OS belching away! Next power upgrade will be a blue OS 25 La.

That's a pretty tough little flyer. I have an engine like that too, a $13 eBay catch. It was advertised as an FP. I replaced the RC carb with a regular OS Venturi and NV.

Hey Rusty,

I really like the engine. Pretty rugged. Has a deeper tone. Probably from the lower revs. Although, with this venturi it certainly revs higher than it did with the old carb. I'll probably experiment with pressure and enlarging the throat a bit. I could just slap on an Enya 35 or Fox 36x. But I like to tinker. It's half the fun for me.  Cool I just want to see what this little oldie can make.

In the end, though, it will be upgraded as far as a power plant goes. 25 La or PAW 19 TBR. About the same in power. The TBR is more fuel efficient and quieter. No batteries either. Just flip and fly. Easier to tune (IMO) than the La. But that's just me.
