Full-Scale Banner Launch / Tow
Thought of this during our PT-19 banner-towing talk.
A couple years ago, someone hired a Banner Company to to make a lap around a tail-gate party in town.
The guy flew a REALLY Macho Cessna 172 Skyhawk, which had no trouble hauling the folded banner out of it's box.
My camera was acting up, causing me to miss the banner feeding straight up out of it's container a couple hundred feet, from it's bridle frame.

In the second pic, that cessna looks like the Pitts S-2 that flies out of my local airport, and is know at the RC club for its 30deg climbouts...

Yeah, I was standing a couple hundred feet away, and had a half-second impulse to break and run when he stomped power to that Skychicken...our affectionate term for Cessna 172's.
He got on the rudder quickly, but the plane STILL had a bit of a roll started toward me and my camera!
