Pt-19 Canadian Model Blue and White
Does anyone have q picture of the Pt-19 cox trainer as sold in Canada in the early 1970's. It was blue and white instead of the normal blue and yellow one. If so this would be much appreciated. Kind Regards
Darren

I don't think such a plane exists.
Many other colors were mixed including red and white, but not blue and white.

Hello,
I've been collecting plastic RTF info and photos for a long time and I've never seen one, but that doesn't mean it doesn't exist, just this year I stumbled onto a all maroon version made in Canada.
If you find one please let me know. I don't think you're thinking about the blue/white PT-20 are you?

Re: Pt-19 Canadian Model Blue and White
Hi Darren, I know this is an old thread, but I have a Blue and White PT-19 with Canadian decals (dark blue body and white wings). It has red maple leaf in a white circle for the decal. Not sure how to post a picture on this site though, it looks like they have to be externally hosted.
You may have already located one in the meantime...

Re: Pt-19 Canadian Model Blue and White
let me try the posting again....
The blue vinyl tape on the wings is a custom addition. Not sure if the decals should have gone on the wings instead of the fuselage. And the firewall has a few drops of glue on it instead of the elastics. Standard Babe Bee engine as far as I know. Feel free to ask any questions. It's from southern Ontario in Canada. It's been 40 years since I've flown one, but the PT-19 was the first plane I had ... started some good times.

Re: Pt-19 Canadian Model Blue and White
Hey...wait a minute "Moose and Squirrel" are from Frostbite Falls (Mini-sota) they ain't no Canadians!
Wow, if this is real this is a version i've never seen before and i haven't seen a new version in a long time, that was one of the neat aspects of studying these cool toys, to discover (for yourself) new models and new versions of models, great find!
Can i ask the poster to repost some larger side shots?

Back in my younger day, i was a factory rep for a electronic dart company and lived in Toronto for 5-6 months, loved it!
Re: Pt-19 Canadian Model Blue and White
..so i went back into my photo files, i thought i'd check the size of the fuselage decal to the maroon version when i spotted this:
So, more then likely it's real, not a totally (for me) new version, lol, more like a forgotten, which is kinda the same?
And of course i didn't make a note of the year, but we can see the Super Sport next to it so we gotta figure early 70's to mid-seventies at latest?
Also, it look to be an exact copy of the one from the catalog, only reverse colors...let me know if you wanna part with it, i know a couple buyers?
