We don't see these very often

We don't see these very often
Mid 50's Enya 60, serialized. Only one Enya ever did. Ser #8118. And, Enya .09 again mid 50's w/ domed head, less fins, flat slotted screws, large rectangular exhaust port, and bulged case for inlet porting. Later they just milled the cylinder liner.
I don't think the needle valve is correct

Ah, don't you just love those vise jaw marks on the mounting lugs on the .60?

Yeah Rod. Looks like someone really put the squeeze on it. Probably when they were hogging out the phillips head head screws so I can't get the head off. At least I know it was in the air as the cylinder fins were bent when it took a header into the ground.
What bothers me as much is the plier marks on the prop drives, both have them I was going to replace the one on the .09 as have a modern replacement but they are different so I just left the original one on. I would say that 75%+ of the used engines I am buying have them. People use pliers to hold the prop drive washers so they can unscrew the props from the splines. I have a thin piece of hardwood that I put in the exhaust port and over the piston to remove stuck props. Works great.
That 60 was in rough shape.
