HELP! I need an NVA for this. It is a DC 0.5 cc. I do not need an original NVA, just something to make it run. Any and all help is greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Bob

Re: Need a needle valve
Peter advertises these regularly. They are fully adjustable to centre the hole in the spraybar.

Re: Need a needle valve
Matt,
I have no idea. It is a tiny little thing. I might try the needle from something else to see if I even have something small enough to get an idea of size/thread.
Thanks
Ian,
I saw that from another post. I noticed that he specializes in these types of engines. I will contact him and see if he ships to the U.S.
Thanks,
Bob

Re: Need a needle valve
I think that I have solved this problem twice. I have found that the needle from an MP Jet .061venturi is the same size and thread as this engine. Only, the needle is too long. Any way, I had an entire NVA in an MP Jet .061 venturi that I stuck in the Dart and it worked beautifully! I also won an NVA from the seller Ian recommended. Thank you, Ian. That tip was greatly appreciated. When I got the engine it was frozen up and missing the needle of the NVA. Now it is a running engine. This was my first true diesel that I got running. After I got the compression in the proper range it was surprisingly simple and easy. With a Top Flite 7x4 wood prop it was running between 8900 and 9000 RPM very steadily. I don't even want to guess how long it would run on an ounce of fuel. Regardless of how long it ran, it was rock solid. I am looking forward to seeing this little gem pulling a plane around some day. The plane will have to be pretty small and light, though.
