Re: Swap Meet 2019 !!
Beautiful catch Eric, congratulations! Is that biplane for a 049/051 size COX? Can be a good one for your return to RC this year!

Re: Swap Meet 2019 !!
Bout time you did a picture heavy thread Eric.
Wow, bunch of stuff, all good. Looks like a couple of Aurora's there. Castor locked they can be a pain to disassemble. .049 or .060?

Nice collection of goodies there. I really like the glider. That is second to the engines of course.
I am just going to guess and say that there is both a .049 and a .060 there.

I think your right Chancey, clear tank a .049, red probably .060. wonder if it came off a SE5A...
Oh yes, and Eric if it's castor locked don't use a heat gun to free it. An over night soak in Simple Green will do it. May turn the case black (mine didn't) but it's a simple matter to buff it out.

Re: Swap Meet 2019 !!
The red aurora is a .060 and the clear .049 (locked up ), Bi plane is like 33" WS so i am thinking .15 or .10 power it is pretty heavy and glider is 79" i am hoping to mount a power pod with a .010 or .020 TD , any idea what the BI is called ?? It was $40 and glider 20- 10- apiece for engines and Olympic .15 40- power panel 10$ New i have never heard of this brand he said 56$ new was asking ??!!

The Jetex might be nice to have, but good luck finding fuel pellets and fuse. I sold mine as I couldn't be bothered. Never worked so well anyway. Still got some fuel pellets, but I'd end up arrested by the anti-terrorist people if I tried to send them to you.

Re: Swap Meet 2019 !!
Nice finds Eric! I seem to remember you had trouble with your old power panel so that was just on time
That’s a good looking Olympic, wanna sell it In all seriousness, I already have one but its venturi is buggered, been looking for a spare but no luck. Looks like it is set up for speed (or FIA free flight maybe?) with the cut fins?
That glider is beautiful! For that one I would think an 049 with a large dia prop would be suitable. Well, anyway, that’s what was used mostly ”back in the day” for gliders that size.
The bipe looks good too, probably a pretty fast flyer?

Thanks Kari if i see a ventura and remember i will set it on you have seen before but not cheap .. This guy was telling me ( i have dealt with him before ) Thats a $100 engine No it not with the Fins turned down Has Good comp. too He had several ole boat engines but he was Top Ebay prices SOOOOno , The Glider is Nice and light ! There were a lot of them there in the 20-50 $ range but i was set to only spend what i brought and needed other things The PP was a ++ on my list with some Old large Props for Ign. engines i have , # servos 50 - set me back a bit too but New marked at 46-20 range /.KariFS wrote:Nice finds Eric! Re: Swap Meet 2019 !!
OK Victor, it has good comp. now but i don't like the way it looks cut down , will probably go into it just to clean the needle valve and such out , i will let you know Thanks , Mauricio I will Blast it but want to get some time under my belt first with something easier . I figure for the $$ you can't buy the Kit more less the time , and it looks good and straight !!
