Best/worst 1/2A Design Names
Hi All,
I am still trying to make an original 1/2A design...
All the good names seem to have been used up...
In the spirit of every April 1st,
And having fun,
What are your best/worst names for a Cox.049 powered... 'thing'. ?
Anything, Cox.049 powered. The lesser/more displacement engines Leroy came up with, are not allowed.
I hope this is the only rule...
No Judges,
No winner/nor loser.
All for fun,
I will start:
Challenger/BaaBaaBabybeen.(a slow Mouse racer)
Details are encouraged,
Multiple entries are allowed,
Having fun,
Rules,
Dave

Got an idea for the design? Sport, stunt, replica, free form/scratched original. Or do you want the name to dictate the design?
How about Putin - Design it to crash and burn.
Or Yankee Doodle - Designed not to crash and burn.
Sorry, my Stars and Stripes are showing.

Re: Best/worst 1/2A Design Names
I have an old Megow Models kit called the "Jap Slapper" ------ Designed in 1943
I have new names?
Russian (rushin') out of here
Russki (pronounced “ROO-skee”) down the hill? (bad accent --- you ski down the hill?)
Old name I used on my "one designs"
"That looks about right"
"Ya Done Yet?"
"Dizzie Enough"
The names above are what my dad yelled at me about my one design 1/2A planes. When they are flying.
Especially when it crashes and Dad says: "that looks about right".
I've named many of my "one designs" that were simple 4" cord wing profile 1/2A for Cox engines.
Most never survived after a year.

How about something obscene sounding to the English speaking like,
"Lo Sputafuoco" (Italian for "The Spitfire")
https://outerzone.co.uk/plan_details.asp?ID=3293 22-in. Sputafuoco Jetex by Elvio Tosaroni from Ali Nuove Minime 1957
