Tee Dee .09 question

Tee Dee .09 question
Are the engines that were packaged in the "cardboard box" era reliable? Or, did they have problems with them?
Thanks!
Thanks!

TD .09
So...a TD .09 that originally came in the cardboard box is "Pre-Estes"? (I hope)

Re: Tee Dee .09 question
I guess it might be hard to tell. My research shows that they could have been packaged like that up until 2000...which was in the "Estes" era. Here's the one I'm asking about:

No telling...

It's got gold anodizing so it could be a pre-estes. If the price stays that low it may be worth it in either case. Shipping on that is way up there though.

Wow...
It went for just over $60. I have two, and only have $70 in'em. A little rich, for me.

Oh well, win some lose some. Good thing is that there is more out there and if you look long enough you will find a deal.

Keep looking. I got a like new one for $20 a while back. But I have also paid too much for other engines.

Yeah, I'm happy with the ones I have. I might start getting a few "Bee's" , now. Then, some planes to fly them with!
