Re: TD .15 Mk II!!!!!!!!!! on ebay!!!!!!!!
Saw that last night, looked neat but, apart from what the seller described as being different I have no idea what it is or how it came to be. Anybody care to enlighten me?

Re: TD .15 Mk II!!!!!!!!!! on ebay!!!!!!!!
oh yeah, i found that one too!
the special thing about them is that they have only one exhaust port. throught that, cox was able
to put a true 3 way schnürle porting into the engine, which is standard now in most high performance
rc engines. also, the piston is connected via a wrist pin, not the classic ball and socket, which improves the stability
of the engine, along with a thicker cylinder wall. this solved the issue of the .15 engine's cylinder walls being rather delicate and unstabil.
hope i could help! ("+" me, if you want )

Re: TD .15 Mk II!!!!!!!!!! on ebay!!!!!!!!
they only built the ball joint ones in the first year of production or so, but due to the high vibration loads on the
joint, they changed to wristpin pretty quick. taking a look at the design of your engines cylinder, i'd
say it's out of the 70's or so. this is the "improved" version with the reinforced cylinder wall.
hope i could help ya!
