Another six months have come and gone so it's now time to giveaway another Black Lynx .049 engine from Ex Model Engines! For the last six months, forum members voted for and chose the engine that would represent each month since July. This drawing is between the six Cox Engine of the Month winners. Since it is the end of the year, a second drawing will be held to giveaway another engine to anyone who has entered a picture in the Cox Engine of the Month since January.

High Performance Black Lynx .049 Engine with Display Box!

For the July through December Cox Engine of the Month winners drawing, a bingo cage filled with number balls numbered from 1 to 6 will be used.

For the drawing with all Cox Engine of the Month participants, a bingo cage filled with number balls numbered from 1 to 10 will be used. A number will be pulled for each month and then two more number balls will be added to the cage so that the number balls will be numbered from 1 to 12. Then a number will be pulled out of the 12 which will designate a winner.

Please make note that if you are the winner of the Black Lynx .049 engine out of either the “January to June” or “July to December” Cox Engine of the Month winners drawing, your name (and number associated with) will be pulled from the 2016 Participants drawing.

Don't worry, I didn't forget the drawing! I moved a lot stuff around since last year and have no idea where the bingo cage went. If I can't find it here in a few days, I'll come up with a plan B.

I found the cage! I'll get the videos posted soon.

Each month we have a maximum of 10 Cox Engine of the Month entries. For each of the 12 months, I will pull 1 ball that is numbered between 1-10. Once I have a participant picked for each of the 12 months, I will toss 12 balls into the cage (numbered 1-12) to represent each month, and the ball I pull will designate the winner.

This was a surprise as I thought the drawing would be only for the winners... I didn't win any this year and had lost hope already. I guess I got an "A for attendance" Very Happy

I checked the specs, the engine seems to be loaded with all the performance goodies in the book. Yay cheers

This engine will be treasured, but it will fly one day. Maybe on the nose of a 1/2A free flight pylon model (with "radio assist", I don't want to lose it affraid

).

Congratulations Kari, it really seems to pay off just to submit pics every month even if they do not always win. I dropped 8 or 9 pics last year - none of them was anywhere near being the winner - but did not qualify even to be among the 12 in the bingo ball.

I have such a Black Lynx configuration (I call it TeeDeeReedie), that I have built from parts for myself, it drives my Li'L Roughneck like hell, swings the 5x4 COX prop, when unloaded, over 21k on 20% nitro.

I remember that engine Andras. Some day I just might get to the point where I can fly something like the Lil Roughneck... Until then, I'll keep flying and fixing the Slow Stick Smile

In 2015 I won the EoM 3 times, but did not get lucky in the draw. Was a bit disappointed as I did have 2x the chance in the later draw. Last year I participated every month, did it because I like to take and publish photos of my little pets Smile
