About the Redneck Forum
Redneck country lives amongst us. The original country farmer with the tattered John Deer cap and sunburned neck posing by his "No Trespassing" sign is no longer the ubiquitous image. Mostly now, it can be any good ol' boy or gal, with possibly, but not necessarily, wild or dubious social behavior. Accessories not required, but a pickup truck with a gun rack holding at least a fishing rod helps the signage.I've been a member for a while and I live pretty far from the real Redneck Land.
The worst end of the spectrum certainly exists, embracing malicious social or political incorrectness just for the sake of it. Dylan Roof.
However rednecks of truly high caliber are not at all uncommon, and may be thought of as "Salt of the earth." All are welcome, just(in the words of Sherriff Andy Taylor) act like you got some sense. Now pass me another one o' them brews and let's make some noise!
The rules on reasonably foul language, innuendo, and pictures are relaxed here, and will be allowed at the sole discretion of the moderators and, as with general CEF policy, moderator actions will not be discussed. Private appeals on individual rulings may be submitted via PM only.
You might be a redneck Jedi if...
1. You ever heard the phrase, "May the force be with y'all."
2. Your Jedi robe is a camouflage color.
3. You have ever used your light saber to open a bottle of Boone's Farm Strawberry Hill.
4. At least one wing of your X-Wings is primer colored.
5. You have bantha horns on the front of your land speeder.
6. You can easily describe the taste of an Ewok.
7. You have ever had an X-wing up on blocks in your yard.
8. You ever lost a hand during a light saber fight because you had to spit.
9. The worst part of spending time on Dagobah is the dadgum skeeters.
10. Wookies are offended by your B.O.
11. You have ever used the force to get yourself another beer so you didn't have to wait for a commercial.
12. You have ever used the force in conjunction with fishing/bowling.
13. Your father has ever said to you, "Shoot, son come on over to the dark side...it'll be a hoot."
14. You have ever had your R-2 unit use its self-defense electro-shock thingy to get the barbecue grill to light.
15. You have a confederate flag painted on the hood of your landspeeder.
16. Although you had to kill him, you kinda thought that Jabba the Hutt had a pretty good handle on how to treat his women.
17. You have ever accidentally referred to Darth Vader's evil empire as "them damn Yankees."
18. You have a cousin who bears a strong resemblance to Chewbacca.
19. You suggested that they outfit the Millennium Falcon with red wood deck.
20. You were the only person drinking Jack Daniels on the rocks during the cantina scene.
Thanks
Rusty, Chief Redneck

Re: About the Redneck Forum
If we ever get the physics of anti grav levitation figured out, I WANT A LandSpeeder!
But for now I am happy to perform # 20 regularly!
I was POed with the latest SW killing off Han Solo and real sad to learn of Princess Leia passing in RW
Still confused with the SkyWalker family lineage.... Oh well I know it is on Google...just too lazy

Re: About the Redneck Forum
I seem to qualify as a genuine, and maybe the moronest redneck because, not being a Star Wars fan (and having not seen that movie, the latest edition in the theaters near me now, either) at all, have no clue whatsoever about the real messages behind the 20 bulletpoints....except No 20, though, because I also love Jack Daniels on the rock

Re: About the Redneck Forum
Here's a short introduction to redneckness:
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=82dDnv9zeLs
I think there are rednecks in every country, the percentage varies though, and there are, as Vincent Vega puts it, "little differences" in different countries
It can have a positive or negative meaning too.
This is how I see it anyway, after spending time with some great factory- and papermill workin' folks in St. Louis and in many different places in the South.
