Re: Ha, everyone is on-line.......
I watched a good one yesterday, pulling for the Falcons to beat Seattle. I like the Seahawks too, but Atlanta is in my area, so.... Then I forgot to turn on the one I really wanted to see, which was the Texans vs the Pats. Not because I have an allegiance to either team, but I do for Jadaveon Clowney, formerly of my home town team, the South Carolina Gamecocks. He was something to behold disrupting O-lines and chasing down quarterbacks. And I forgot! The Pats won as expected, so maybe he didn't have a good game.rsv1cox wrote:Football game is over, but another is starting. See-ya.

Went out to try and see if I can still fly today. Too tired to watch much but a half of the Cowboys and packers.

Re: Ha, everyone is on-line.......
Went out to one of the local disc golf courses and played a round with some of my disc golf buddies, great day! Got home in time to watch the Dallas and Pack. Great game, but i had a hard time deciding who to cheer for, Dallas who haven't done anything for a while (loved to hate them in the 90's) or GB, the enemy of the Bears...but a North Div. team? In the end it seemed like i was hoping the Pack would hold them off, but i think i'd like to have seen Dallas play New England in SB, assuming they get by Pittsburgh.
Re: Ha, everyone is on-line.......
I'm not a huge sports-fan.. but I love it when the Pats are winning. They're my team. Don Hasselbeck and Steve Nelson were my neighbors back in the early 1990's when I lived in Norfolk, MA. I worked as a maintenance-man at my in-laws hotel "The End Zone Motor Inn and Sports Bar" in Foxboro, less than 1/4mi. South of the old stadium. Gillette Stadium hadn't been built yet. NE put-up their mini-camp players there. When there were home-games.. it was crazy! There was on-site parking; enough for well-over 100 vehicles @ $20 a pop. Live satellite sports-radio shows (Eddie Andelman) right out in front of the hotel in the WEEI mobile-studio. The hotel and grounds would get trashed.. and I was the guy who had to fix everything that got broken.
Years later I played a party (music-gig) with a friend, (piano/guitar) for the N.E. Pats Administration.. at a nice large home in Franklin, MA. It just happened to be the day/evening when Pete Carroll was fired as head-coach. He made an appearance.. and later asked me if he could play a song on my piano! "Yes of course I said.. be my guest! He's one hell of a piano-player.. let me tell you. He's also a GREAT guy.. and still a great coach too...

Re: Ha, everyone is on-line.......
It was funny. I was reading a thread at the time and decided to see who was on-line. Turned out most everybody. Hence this thread. The CEF between games super bowl flush I thought. Both the Cowboys/Packers and Chiefs/Steelers were great games.
