*** Double SIGH ***

*** Double SIGH ***
Sig has a Black Friday sale of 15% off any kit, with a free ½ oz. bottle of Thin CA and a 1 oz. bottle of Debonder thrown in free. But looking at their models, there’s nothing I need. And with all the kits and parts I have sitting around the house, nothing that I particularly want…
I’m mildy interested in getting another Akromaster for $24.00 and building it up as a full fuse model. $24 for a .15 sized model is actually a great price these days. Especially with the freebies. Or maybe a Skyray for $14.00. I had fun building that Skyray with a built up wing a few months ago. But I have no interest in a Twister or a Banshee.
What good’s a sale if there’s nothing exciting to buy?

Sitting here in the same boat ole buddy! The "Acquisition Urge" overpowers my 'Building Urge' on a regular basis!
A full-fuse Akromaster would sure be cool though!

Roger that times two. I've been aquiring engines, kits, and plans lately at a rate so much faster than I'm able to build that it's a downright gluttonous sin! The madness must stop and I must focus on the projects already underway, the ones stashed u der the bed and in the closets, and maintaining/repairing the planes I currently fly. I sure hope I live to be 150yrs old so I can knock most of this stuff out. At this point, as enticing as a sale is, 15% off will leave me on the sidelines.

Testify Brother!!!
My started/stalled projects are beginning to yell at me: Hurricane, "You had to blab that you started the build on me, and now, you're running all over the country, looking at other airplanes!"
Ain't even fit to print what the gyro is saying...

Thanks, misery loves company. Now I know why I bought another Golden Bee when I already have several. But, I'm doing well on airplane kits, my un-built kits though many, still do not approach my already builts.

I guess "the urge" shifts from airplanes to girls and then back to airplanes as we age

Yeah, they are like Yin and Yang, the opposite forces that may actually be complementary to each other.

There is always a sale... just wait. Maybe something will pop up when you need it.

Like these from MECOA Eric?

Mark B featured them awhile back. I bought one and found it better than more sophisticated stands from other manufacturers.
