Roddie and Lynne-10 years
Lynne and I were married 10 years on Dec. 1st. We are heading out this weekend to "Sturbridge, MA" to celebrate. We will visit historic "Old Sturbridge Village"; a trip back centuries in time. We've both been there together previously.. but never during the winter/holiday season. I hope that the recent snowfall doesn't melt before we get there.
A few photos of a previous trip in 2007..

It's a wonderful place to spend the day!
A "plus" is that Sturbridge is home to "Hog Heaven" hobby-shop. Lynne had visited Sturbridge this past Summer with her daughter.. and picked me up a gallon of VP/Powermaster 10-22 glow-fuel for my larger old steel-fin glow-engines!
This trip; I'll be there... and there's a few more hobby items I could use...
I need some glow-fuel tubing.. and I'll try to obtain some in a variety of different sizes if they have it. I'll also see about glow-plugs too. As I recall; they had a full-stock of "DuBro" hardware. I'll take some photos of the shop. There aren't many left around these parts..

Lynne and Roddie get married in NH 2007
Thank You "all" for the anniversary wishes! The 2007 Sturbridge trip was in May. We were later married on Dec. 1st in Ashland, NH at the "Glynn House".. a quaint little inn/Bed & Breakfast. It was just Lynne and I, the JP and owners of the inn attending.

The weather was FRIGID!! The inn owners suggested and made reservations for us to have dinner at a nearby restaurant called the "Coe House".

When we arrived; we were led to a small door.. and up a creaky old narrow staircase into the "attic" which was dark and freezing cold! I think there was one 25W light bulb in a corner somewhere... We were then led to another door.. and when it was opened; there was another narrow carpeted staircase leading up to a small heated cupola overlooking the town, having a single table for two.. complete with chandelier!

It was magical!
I love covered-bridges.. and here is one that was in the area..

Hard to believe this was built in 1990.. such craftsmanship!
