Re: 1/2A Kits For Sale
Hi Randy,
Thanks for coming here with your kits. I'm not a member of RCU, so I couldn't post a reply.
Since some of your kits aren't clearly visible in the top picture, and "more kits" has no picture, can I make a recommendation?
Clearly catalog the kits. A typed list would tell us a name of kit/manufacturer...but not necessarily the construction method-unless you want to add that kind of detail.
If you go to a text based list, then may I ask for a particular format?
Try Model Name, Manufacturer, Wingspan, basic construction style, desired price.
Basic contruction style can be:
"Log fuse, slab wing"
"Box fuse, built-up flat bottom wing"
"Full fuse, symmetric wing"
"Profile fuse, slab wing"
"Profile fuse, built-up symmetric wing"
Or...
Take a picture of a small group at a time. No more than say, two or three kits wide, by three or four rows deep from straight over head. Do this for all the kits you want to sell. However many you can get into the straight from above shot. Add details about kits where the kit art doesn't give us that kind of detail.
This way, we can see each kit clearly, and recognize the style of construction...or at least have a name to go look up.
I ask this because I can't see the kits beyond the first three rows closest to the camera. I recognize a few farther back only because I can barely make out their names-barely.
Personally, I want to know more about the Corsair...wingspan, log with plank wing? Box fuselage with built-up wing, and how much?
What's hiding behind the Baby Ringmaster? Is it a Spitfire? Same questions as above: wingspan, construction style, price?
And please spread out the piles closest to the wall...the two towers of kits...I see some pastel colors that look like Scientific kits, but I can't read the box end-panels.
Help me put some presents under the tree for myself! I just need details.
Thanks in advance.

Re: 1/2A Kits For Sale
Hi Randy,
Thanks for posting all those kits. I'd like to second 944_Jim on his recommendation to expand a bit on the photos and descriptions if you might. I think you'll get a lot more interest and success from potential buyers, of which I happen to be one. I think I see a Goldberg Lil Satan there. I'd like to put my name on it, if it's not too dear.
Thanks for posting and Welcome to the forum!

Three Baby RingMasters ( Profile Fuselage, Built-up wing), two Beginner's RingMasters (Profile Fuselage, Slab-wing), 1 Beginner's RingMaster Bipe (Profile Fuselage, Slab-wing), Two Scientific Bel-Airs (Log Fuselage, Slab-wing).
I'm curious about the Rays, and the Veco...can't read the boxes.

Re: 1/2A Kits For Sale
Bruce,
There is a really good Lil Satan Replica plan right here:
http://flyinglines.org/kb.widosatan.html
I've built this one, and the original. Of course, the original was over thirty-five years ago.
I can't help with the others...wish I could!
