Cox Mercedes, almost at my limit.
Nine now. Said I would have ten. Saving last one for NIB out there somewhere.

I dunno. I just fell in love with these things. Still insist, I'm not a model car guy!
Closest thing in the winter I can come to the real thing without getting my hands dirty. Quite the opposite, Simple Green and other cleaners suck the oils out of your hands.
Thanks to Mud, all are now complete with seats. Only two arrived with drivers. They just get put aside and lost.
Last two are diamonds in the rough. Under all that grime are two very nice examples with undamaged hood bracket pivot points and suspensions. A rarity with these that have been played with.

Really like the dark red one, I think that are rare. I too am looking for a nice box for mine. I will buy one and resell the car to offset cost.
PM me if your bidding on one in box so we don't bid against each other. Right now prices seem to be up, maybe because you have cornered the market?

Great line-up. So many of those would have been trashed. Great save!

I think it will be a long time before we see a NIB example for sale CB. Nobody is willing to turn them loose. But, ya, I will let you know if I see one for sale and will check to see if you are a bidder.
I have one that came came with a box, both car and box pretty much trashed, but I made something out of nothing. Not the same as true NIB.

Yes, the maroon ones are rare, made toward the last of production I think. But I know of a different color that is like really, really rare. Only two in the world known to exist.

You know Bob, when they talk about ”collecting all the different Cox models”, they generally mean one or a couple of each, not literally ALL of them.
Just kidding
That’s a very nice collection, and Thanks for sharing the restoration/repair stories too
Just kidding

Bob, Those are fantastic! You definitely have a large chunk of history sitting there. I keep hearing Janis Joplin singing in my head......

I loved JJ, still do. And she knew the proper pronunciation of Porsche in that song. And, yes I used to repeat those words to my wife often.

But, my and everybody's all time favorite.
