Sexiest Model Engine
,,or eye/ear appealing,
As the devils advocate thread to Ivahoe's Ugliest engine thread.
Variety is the spice of life, and I like to eat. All model type engines included,,not just the small micromotor stuff.
My entry:

If you have ever stood next to or around a full scale size of one of these, you will realize that it sounds absolutely identical. This guy got everything correct when he built it. Quite the construction story behind it too.

So I hear, be interesting to see the prices!
I had three Mk.III and a Mk.IV in my previous modelling existence, and probably got about a tenner a piece when I sold them! If only you could see into the future!

Now, if this was running under it's own power, it would be really impressive!
I don't think building something like this is model engineering , more like watchmaking on the grand scale!
Wish I had - 1. The skill, and 2. The equipment, 3. The patience, to make something like this!

That's got to be smaller than .05 his .010 dwarfs it. Maybe .005?
Maybe I ought to visit the Valentine site!
