Canada Post - They always get their mail-eventually
It is with great jubilation and gratification that I can announce that the lone Canadian postman who, at 4.35pm PDT+1 on the 6th of May 2019 (11.35am 7th May NZT) left Dayspring, Nova Scotia, Canada on foot arriving at Vancouver at 1.38am PDT+1 the 11th of May where, after 5 days preparation , disembarked Vancouver Canada at 1.34am PDT+1 on the 16th of May 2019, making the journey down the pacific ocean in an open canoe to deliver my Parcel ( tracking CC227296809CA, a new copy of “The Gun Digest Book of Exploded Gun Drawings by Harold Murtz (2005, Paperback)”finally arriving at Auckland New Zealand at 8.22am NZT this day the 30th July 2019 for a total time of 83 days 20hrs and 47 minutes earning a postal revenue for Canadian Post of CAN$73.97.
I’m not sure if that includes a meal.
All going well NZ Post may deliver it to me tomorrow (unless they send it off to Mexico).

Sounds typical. I sent a fellow Kiwi friend a Fox .15-X prop drive plate earlier this year by US 1st Class International Air Mail. When I was about to give up and make up for it, he got it 3 months later. US Post estimated a 2 week delivery time.
Will wonders never cease?

Re: Canada Post - They always get their mail-eventually
Glad it finally arrived safely. Our postal system here is kinda crappy when doing private shipping from one to another. It is slooooooow. We even face teh same delays here when ordering offshore. 90 days is nothing to wait. However, with that said, if I get something from the US, it gets here quicker than me ordering something from the province only one over!
