Thanks, Krylon has been my go-to rattle can paint for some time now. I even painted my $250 purchased MG Midget with it.
Did the two die cast body shells yesterday media blasting that hideous blue green paint off first. Same gray as my first. Still have frames and the black one to do. All will be Va Line.
Yes, the outer most pully is the speed option, moderate middle, and slow is the inner. Easy enough to change without disassembly.

PS - Had to brag on my MG for a bit.

Alibaba, that's the Chinese Amazon isn't it? I have checked Amazon for model locomotives, lot of new high end stuff there and I'm mostly a bottom feeder.
I am on Walmart's internet website and have ordered items there before and had them shipped to my local Walmart. I like it, just go to their "tower" tap in your code and a storage units door pops open with your stuff. Turn around and walk out. Easy.
Ya, I don't do Facebook, but my son does and follows our hobby obsession's. But, the Fleas are the source of the best bargains.
That black locomotive above Eric now looks like this:

Started my own railroad name, another post here I think. Va line. Got three or four of these Varney belt drives now all will have the same name and paint. Varney was a pioneer in the hobby starting back in the 1930's.

Pretty good story Fred.

I have quite a few Williams products but my favorites are their vintage model airplane wheels, got them on several of my models. I kicked around their link for awhile but did you check out the R.J. Corman story. The picture of him straddling a backhoe is amazing. When you have Mitch O'Connell as a friend you know your somebody.
