Mud, if you put that case(shiny object) on a hook, I'd hit it like a barracuda.Mudhen wrote:Not to throw a wrench in the plans...
The earliest version of the Space Bug crankcase had a bronze sleeve.
These lasted from 1951 to roughly mid-1953

To much information Eric.
But ya, that prune thing. I buy them in the big bag from Costco. Five a day keeps me err.... regular.[/quote]
You two slay me. Haven't laughed like that for a while. Still laughing.

Re: New Space Bug From Parts
Hey folks. Here's where I'm at. I spent a few years seeking out the parts for this project and I'm
elated by the help I've gotten. The rarest and most impossible parts were gifted to me, and that's
quite humbling. I had to pick myself off the floor after receiving some of them. Thanks to
my compassionate friends here.
I hope to put the finishing touches on her this weekend, and maybe introduce her to the test stand.
Beware, tiny fib here, more later.

Re: New Space Bug From Parts
Ron,
Well, going back to April, the fib was that I didn't have a double bypass
C/P for the SpaceBug, only a single from a SB Jr. I didn't want to close out the thread defeated, so
I kept my ear to the ground and I won this on ebay.
The seller had a second one after I was crushed on the first one. I saved a few rupees too!
Finally, it's is in the mail, and I have my hopes up that it's in good shape.
God willing, this will seal the deal.
