Im gonna go out on a limb and take a  semi informed guess at the answers:
The TD049 uses the fine thread 128 TPI
The BB 049 uses the standard  72 TPI.  

But, now I question myself because the TD also can use the Kirn kraft or Ace “Fine Thread” needle valve when using bladder pressure?


First correction.   Its 80 tpi  and 128tpi  from this thread:

The Babe Bee, TD, Sure Start and Medallion all use 80 Threads per inch.  The difference is in the diameter and taper of the needle

The Babe Bee needle screws into the TD Valve body but will it work?

The Sure Start needle works in the Medallion

TD and Babe Bee needle diameter same,@ .108 ". Needle is just posed for picture

Sure Start and Medallion needle diameter same @ .0835"  
The Medallion needle shown in the picture was modified by brazing a handle to it

Just for anyone that may care, the nominal OD (outside diameter) of a #2 thread (2-56, 2-80 or whatever) is .086" . The nominal for a #4 thread (4-40, 4-80) is .112". The actual measurement is generally about .002" less than nominal and the tolerance is different on the class of fit. GH2, GH3 or whatever is desired. There are charts with all the boring details of this, and even more boring charts for military specs which are mostly the same.
