My first Babe Bee

My first Babe Bee
Well, maybe not my first, I think there was on on my l'l Wiz but, that was over 30yrs ago and it wasn't mine it was my Dad's.
So Anyway I received this from Mitch in trade for a 190-6. I have to say he set me up quite well. It cleaned up nicely and it appears to be an early one with a taper case and a single bypass #2 cylinder. It runs strong with excellent compression. It's no screamer like my TD's but, I like it! It will probably go right back on the Goldberg Wizard.
Anyway just thought I would share, even though I have TD's out the Wazoo it's nice to mess with basics once and a while. Here is a picture after 3 runs. 2 rich and one hot. Yeah, it looked so new I thought I would do a couple break in runs. Plus I polished the piston and cylinder so I wanted them to play nice together.......
Enjoy!

Re: My first Babe Bee
Yeah Mitch, it did clean up very well. The screwdriver gouges are still there, I didn't want to sand too much off lest I removed the Thimble Drome Script. Plus they give it character.
Thanks Man!
Sorry no video, I created a YouTube acct but, my Iphone App won't recognize the password. John Boy? Any ideas on that?

In the bottom left of the screen there should be someting with an am arrow.
Press it the select "send to youtube"
Re: My first Babe Bee
Looks like an APC prop on that Bee. I just bought a bunch of APCs and was surprised to find the holes are too big. I know about using a tube to center it. I'm just wondering if all of them have large holes.

Yeah, like Indra says it's a Cox 6x3. I will run a smaller one next go around.

Re: My first Babe Bee
Hi Ron
When I first set mine up some how it allowed me to enter
A different password. I know usually you have to enter the
Password twice when setting an Account up but I know another
2 bods this hAs happened to so I guess there's a glitch in
The utube registration process. So armed with 10 thumbs
It seems to be all too easy to set up an account that you'll
Never be able to access. WhAt I did was just set up another
Account adding an extra 'a' to my usuall username and
Paying attention when creating the password. If you can access the
Account from a PC or Mac then I'd say the auto saved username
And password needs to be reset on the phone.
My money is on the first above though.

Nope.......I have a quad pack of Energizers in there. The old ones just desolder and the new ones solder back in place. I did cover the thing in clear tape to keep it fuel proof though. Notice the cool early clip?
