COX TeeDee09 RC in flight with the Cosmic Wind
I decided to shake up my early autumn, sunny afternoon with some outlaw flight and even more outlaw on-board video, so I took my good ole - avatar - Cosmic Wind to the field.

A keychain camera fixed to its right wing - with a coin fixed on the left wing tip for balance - shot the event. A bit overpropped with a APC 7x5 prop, and its SPI cylinder power-killed by a muffler - whose function is more to control goo than muffle the noise -, the TeeDee09 pulled the plane with authority, thanks to the Kamtechnik turbo head too.. I noted mid-air the carb was set a bit to the lean side therefore decided to carry on with a halfway throttled RC carb so as to feed the engine with sufficient booze (60/20/20 full castor) to prevent excessive wear.
The 6 minute flight ended with a smooth landing in tall grass...I removed the landing gear before the flight.
I am not sure why but the sound is out of synch in the youtube video...

Nice plane, nice flight. Clouds, blue sky. Thought I caught a flying saucer at the 4:30 mark and again at the end.

Thanks Bob. I also noted that black thing on the vid..unless a UFO, that must be a hot air balloon..

What a beautiful place to fly.. and on a beautiful day as well! Thanks for sharing!!

Thanks Roddie..outskirts of my hometown Budapest..some busy roads and a shopping mall nearby in hearing distance...the muffler helps keep my flight low-profile and avoiding unwanted attention of authorities who introduced the idiotic drone laws but do not really know yet how to enforce it..
