Ah, the TF... Beautiful. Here’s moi in a barn fresh TD, somewhere in rural Indiana, circa 1989.
I was 17 at the time, had no driver’s licence yet (the minimum age is 18 around here). The owner and I got the MG running after cleaning the carbs and making a couple of new gaskets for the float bowls. Also needed a new battery. Brakes did not work, but that didn’t stop me (pun intended) from test-driving it on the owner’s yard and driveway. What a hoot it was, ccw tach and all.
