The kid's gave me a little party this morning. Breakfast with Waffles and Crown Royal Maple Syrup, favorites of mine. Transfer pump for the tractor's diesel fuel, hard for me to lift and pour five gallons of the stuff out of a container, chainsaw parts, cherry tomatos from my DIL's garden, cards, and it wouldn't be a party without at least one model airplane.
And my creative daughters birthday card, a penny for each year.
The good news is.........I'm still only 85, I won't be 86 for at least a few more days. That's just four years away from 90..................

Thanks all, I still get a chuckle out of my daughters birthday card. Eighty six cents - a penny a year and I'm still being over-paid.

You sure are pretty active for an 86 year old! You're always keeping busy with one project or another and seem as sharp as a tack.

Dear Bob!...very happy birthday!...as others have commented, I congratulate you on your activity...keeping your head busy and entertained is a big part of the secret, moving your body like you do with those trees and those irons, is the other important part.

I gather Bob, your daughter is very much like your wife, and your son is very much like you, but they have some of both parents.
